KENOSHA ⏤ Good morning, fellow music lovers and supporters. Welcome to another round of #SaintsRadioSunday, this week featuring Lines of Loyalty.

Admittedly, this week is a little more intimate of a playlist, with one new contribution and recap of what we’ve received.

However, you should still pay attention to these Kenosha-area artists.

If you have a Facebook Live clip, a Youtube clip or any link we can embed or put on the the next list, please send them to dthompson@theuptownobserver.com with the subject line “Saints Radio Sundays”.

Lines of Loyalty, formerly Mixed Company

While the COVID-19 era has forced venues to host more intimate, solo acoustic-style shows for now, one doesn’t need to look much further than Lines of Loyalty to remember Kenosha is also a hard rock town.

The band, formerly known as Mixed Company, consists of Nubz Morrison [vocals, guitar], Redo Ianni [bass, vocals, keys], and Shane Madsen [drums, percussion]. Madsen is well-known in the local music scene for giving drum lessons, as well as previously hosting open mics at Sazzy B and Rustic Road Brewing Co. in Downtown.

“No matter where you go, loyalty means the same thing. It represents a promise to uphold a code of honor. You remain true to yourself, your friends, and your family,” the band’s About section reads on its social media platforms.

“Lines Of Loyalty maintain this level of commitment to both their craft and their mission.”

Further, its approach to music is to “deliver melodically magnetic rock anthems with unapologetic dedication and diligence,” they state.

‘I’m Not The One’

Following the name change, on Feb. 19, Lines of Loyalty released the official music video for their single “I’m Not The One.”

The band has always been completely solid musically, and the production value on this initial video effort finally matches that.

There is a lot that can be written out right here concerning the many positives about the video, and also how impressive it is that it’s coming from Kenosha musicians.

However, instead, simply please watch it for yourself below.
