KENOSHA ⏤ Many familiar faces, as well as faces that used to be more familiar, showed up in the crew of artists who stepped out for this week’s Monday night open mics.
At Rustic Road Brewing Co., Brian Lockwood, a local singer/songwriter, performed a short acoustic set. His unique energy is something worth rediscovering, even in the confines of the open-mic setup. And he remains one of the local artists to keep an eye on in the city.

Likewise, on the stage at Fusion, visitors lately can see a familiar trumpet player silhouetted by the colorful stage lights.
While many most likely don’t know his name, many appreciate his subtle contribution to sets around the city.
