On the scene, KCSD deputies determined that the vehicle, a 2011 Dodge Ram pickup truck, drove southbound on 312th Avenue and failed to make a curve near Seventh Street. As a result, the pickup left the road, crashing into a wooded area near the roadway.

Deputies report the truck had extensive damage to the roof and its driver’s side when they discovered it.

The Kenosha County Medical Examiner’s office pronounced the 66-year-old Milwaukee man driving the truck dead at the scene.

The department is not naming the victim of the crash pending notification of his family.

The investigation into the crash also remains active.

The department encourages anyone with information on the crash to contact them at 262-605-5100.
