KENOSHA ⏤ The past week has been a mixed bag of beautiful views and potentially bitter news in the city of Kenosha involving a decision on officer discipline.

The area has seen sunnier days, with a chilly wind keeping the temperature from getting too high. However, it has brought with it a beautiful spring aesthetic.

On the other hand, the community is again tense after Kenosha Police Chief Daniel Miskinis announced that the department will not discipline KPD officer Rusten Sheskey.

Sheskey, who returned to duty March 31, shot Jacob Blake seven times on Aug. 23, 2020. Blake remains paralyzed from the waist down as a result of the shooting.
