As officers pursued the vehicle, others also entered the apartment involved in the original call. There, they found the body of 18-year-old Deshawn Davis. Davis died of gunshot wounds, a Saturday department release states.
Information developed by detectives led to the quick arrest of two other suspects in the homicide, the department also said. Officers arrested those suspects in Rockford, Ill. KPD expects one to face a homicide charge, with the other expected to be charged with aiding a felon.
However, the department has chosen not to name the additional suspects in custody until the Kenosha County District Attorney’s office files charges.
