KENOSHA ⏤ This week, families hoping to fully vaccinate children received welcome health news: Children 12 years and older can now receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine in Kenosha County.

Kenosha County Health Officer Dr. Jen Freiheit made the vaccine announcement earlier this week. Likewise, she also gave updates to several county committees on local efforts to combat the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Beyond COVID-19

Readers also continued to enthusiastically turn to the Observer’s story about a full grocery store coming to the Uptown Neighborhood. Dist. 3 Ald. Jan Michalski gave that update at a ribbon cutting for Grace Welcome Center’s new walk-in cooler on May 5.
