Do your best Pollock impression with Wallner, Hot Mess Studios

KENOSHA ⸺ Local artist Katy Wallner may be a hot mess.

But it’s OK. She likes it that way.

While regularly that description has negative connotations, like with many things, Wallner has turned it into a positive with her new creation: Hot Mess Studios, LLC

The brainchild of the Creatives for Community founder, the new pop-up art studio offers local kids, adults and also whole families the opportunity to do their best Jackson Pollock impression on a blank canvas.

“Life can get messy sometimes,” Wallner writes in the project’s description on social media. “Doesn’t mean it can’t be beautiful! A safe place to come in and be your own artist. No judgements. No critics.

Enjoy the process of creating splatters and leave with your Jackson Pollock inspired masterpiece!”
