#LocalTalent: Young musician belts out Joplin tune (video)

KENOSHA ⏤ Sometimes you encounter younger artists or even a single young musician that not only seems to have respect for, but also matches some of the style of the greats.

Audrey, a young student of local musician Haven Wells, showed such reverence and talent Monday night.

The singer belted out Janis Joplin’s “Me and Bobby McGee” at the weekly open mic at Rustic Road Brewing Co.

The performance not only garnered a round of applause, but also a few dropped jaws.
