KENOSHA ⏤ Since The Uptown Observer began, we’ve pursued what we call “humanity-centered journalism.”
What this means is, instead of showing what gets more pageviews, we try to focus on the people. Within that, we try to add in little flourishes of personality that others may not.
For a while now, our intern Olivia Crudup has sat down with people from the community to tell their stories.
We’ve called these “Humanity-Centered Saturday” stories.
While we assure you those will continue, we want to take a moment this week to recap the stories Olivia has already written.
In that, you get to see the lives the Observer has been able to be apart of ⏤ though ever so briefly.
Therefore, please, take time to read the Humanity-Centered Stories we have published since launching in the fall of 2020.
