Kenosha Police Chief Miskinis to retire at end of April

Police chief sent email to city department heads Thursday informing them

KENOSHA ⏤ Kenosha Police Chief Daniel Miskinis will retire at the end of April.

Miskinis, who has served in law enforcement since the 1980s, announced the retirement to city staff in an email sent at 8:18 a.m. Thursday morning.

He has spent nearly 25 of those years with the Kenosha Police Department.

In his email, obtained by the Observer Friday morning, Miskinis states that he will work to ensure the “department leadership transition is smooth.”
