KENOSHA ⏤ The inmate found hanging in his jail cell on Feb. 9 at the Kenosha County Jail has died from his injuries.

Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. David Wright made the announcement Wednesday morning that the inmate ⏤ identified as Timothy J. Nelson, 25, of Kenosha ⏤ had died at Froedtert Hospital at 3:42 p.m. on Feb. 12.
At the time of the incident, the department described it as a suicide attempt.
The Racine County Sheriff’s Department is leading the investigation into the incident, due to an agreement between the two sheriff’s departments.
That investigation is ongoing.
However, neither department has released any other updates in the case.
