KENOSHA COUNTY ⏤ The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department responded to 130 weather-related calls, including 16 accidents, during the weekend’s snowstorm.
According to a department release from Sgt. David Wright, from 6 a.m. Saturday to 6 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to:
- 5 crashes with injuries;
- 11 property-damage crashes;
- 113 assist motorists;
- And 3 fire calls.
However, there are no current road closures in the county.
“Our deputies were able to keep up with the calls for service and did an excellent job serving the people of Kenosha County,” the release states.
“The roadways were dangerous, and we are thankful that none of the accidents involved life-threatening injuries.”
